THE SHORT VERSION
We count visits. We keep your email if you hand it to us. That is the whole operation. We are two people making a game, and we have neither the time nor the appetite to surveil you.
VISITOR COUNTING (GOOGLE ANALYTICS)
If you accept the banner, Google Analytics 4 counts your visit: which pages you saw, roughly where you came from, and what kind of device you used. We use it to answer exactly one question: is anyone out there. The numbers we see are aggregated, and we cannot tell who you are from them.
If you decline, the analytics script is never loaded and nothing is sent anywhere. Google's side of the arrangement is described in Google's privacy policy.
THE EMAIL LIST (MAILERLITE)
If you sign up for updates, your email address goes to MailerLite, the service that runs our list. It is used to send you news about our games and nothing else. Every email carries an unsubscribe link, and it works.
WHAT STAYS IN YOUR BROWSER
The site keeps a few small things in your browser's local storage, where they remain:
- your minigame high score (
tgif_highscore) - your safety signage preference (
tgif_signage) - your answer to the visitor counting banner (
sb_analytics)
None of it leaves your machine, and clearing your browser data removes all of it.
WHAT WE DO NOT DO
We do not sell data. We do not run ads. We do not track you across other sites. We do not know who you are, and we intend to keep it that way.
CHANGING YOUR MIND
Press the button below to erase your banner answer. The banner will return on your next page load, and you may give a different answer, or the same one, forever.
Done. Your answer has been erased and the banner will reappear.
QUESTIONS
Reach us on Instagram, X, or YouTube (links below). A privacy question will be answered by a human, because that is all we have.
